BiographyEva Arakcheeva (born in 1989) graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov (Faculty of Painting, 2011–2017) and the School of Contemporary Art “Free Workshops” in 2015. During the same period, she began her active artistic and curatorial career. She has curated 10 projects, including those within the parallel program of the 5th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art. The artist is developing an original method called “de-realism,” which makes it possible to abandon the habitual—modern-era—focus of perceiving reality, deconstruct it into separate elements, and find unexpected connections between them. Eva is creating a Concept of Creative Consciousness, within which she explores themes of the multidimensionality of consciousness and the phenomenological grasp of the unity between landscape and subjective plastic language. The artist is a participant in numerous exhibitions. Her works were presented within the special and parallel programs of both the 5th and 6th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art. In 2018 and 2021, her solo exhibitions “The Color of Psychotria on Mont Blanc,” “The Faded Rainbow,” and “The Trees Stand Transparent, Enveloped in Darkness” took place in Moscow. In 2022, Eva took part in the international project “X-Nowness” within the Art Basel fair. In 2023, the series “The Color of Psychotria on Mont Blanc” was exhibited as part of the Moscow Urban Forum at Gostiny Dvor. In 2024 and 2025, solo projects dedicated to the method of de-realism and the Concept of Creative Consciousness (catharsis) were held at the Triangle Gallery.
